First off, I am sooo upset that American Idol did a sneak episode yesterday. I didn’t get to vote for Jessica. It’s okay though, because I have a very good feeling about her winning anyway.
Did you guys catch that fall
Joshua almost had after he did that split? LOL, I’m not sure if that was
something done purposely or was it an accident.
That performance with Phillip and
whoever that guy was, it was kind of boring. I didn’t like it all. I just
didn’t vibe with it at all.
Now that performance with Joshua
and Fantasia, I love! I figured he was going to perform with her for this
finale tonight, especially since he said in an interview he wanted to perform
with her for the finale. That duet was very powerful and very soulful.
Chaka Khan with the top 6 ladies
of the season? AMAZAING!!! That performance to “I’m every woman” was great! I
love hearing all of the powerful voices collide.
That performance with Rihanna was
great as well. I loved that whole pyramid with the green beam lights she
appeared in. It was hot! That performance was just so exotic and different.
Skylar and Reba were okay. I
wasn’t too geeked about seeing that, it was good though.
Every time Jessica sings “I Will
Always Love You” by Whitney Houston, always put me in total shock! That song
just works so well with her. Only if Jessica actually could have performed that
song with Ms. Houston,
that would have been great! Jessica’s voice is amazing!
The top 6 guys were great as
well. Loved them! The 2 that stood out the most though were my favorite, which
were Colton and Joshua of course. Although I must say that I am not impressed
with this guy Neal
Diamond. He just kind of knocked the flow of that
performance off.
WHOA! JLO’s dancers flipping on
to the stage was great! The second half of her performance was more
entertaining to me. She revealed her body a little more and it seems the energy
picked up a bit in the second half of the performance. I give that whole
performance an 8 out of 10.
Ace Young and Diana DeGarmo
engaged? INTERESTING! I never would have thought…Idol kind of made that
proposal a little dramatic with the elimination performance. The first Idol
couple to make that leap! CONGRATS YOU GUYS!
Hollie Cavangh and Jordan Sparks
doing a duet? INTERESTING! Never would have thought of that one. Beautiful
performance though…
I’ve noticed 4 previous Idol
winners there tonight, Carrie, Fantasia, Scotty, and Jordan. I know one thing,
I love seeing all of the previous contestants of Idol under 1 roof.
Jessica Sanchez and Jennifer Holiday…GREAT!!!
I would have loved to Jennifer Hudson perform “And I’m Telling You I’m Not
Going” with them though. ANOTHER POWEREFUL DUET!
Aerosmith…….NICE!

Phillips!
UGHH!!!! I am so FURIOUS about
that crap! Phillip didn’t deserve that over Jessica! There’s been a male
winning streak for the last 4-5 seasons. When will it end? ...I think this will
be another Clay and Ruben incident, where the runner up will sell more records.
I believe Jessica’s career will go far and I really hope it does. I think
Jessica’s career will go further than Phillips…Jessica definitely deserved that
title and I am SO DISAPPOINTED that she didn’t get it! I think Idol may have
ruined Jessica’s chances of winning this season due to them switching the days
of the shows right in the finale. JUST WASN’T RIGHT! That stunt that was
recently pulled where they switched up the days was just so f*cked up!
I think I’m done with this show,
because I am so sick and tired of seeing EXCELLENT talent walk away from this
show without being noticed.
